the spotlight. Allow us to introduce you to PATRIA - talented, gorgeous,

PATRIA simply has all the tools to be a star. There is her strong and soulful voice, one that can move from a low, sexy growl to a soaring falsetto with graceful ease. There is her songwriting prowess, born out of her penchant for poetry, which enables her to pen intimate, moving ballads and dance-floor-friendly grooves with equal expertise. Then there is her exquisite and exotic beauty, an intoxicating blend which makes photography and video both potent ingredients in her formula. Last but definitely not least, is her attitude. PATRIA is totally passionate about and committed to her music. When PATRIA first met producer Domenic Troiano there was instant chemistry. Seeing the potential of this rising star, Domenic and co-producer Howard Ayee immediately went into the studio and began recording with PATRIA. With time, her music and writing evolved into her first album. "My Rules", is full of songs about love and relationships and showcases PATRIA's maturity as a songwriter and her extensive vocal talent. The album is distributed in Canada by Popular/EMI and has also been released in Japan. In July 2000, "My Rules", will have its South American debut with release in Brazil. Pressed to define her style, she offers "pop with an R&B groove and feel and a trace of HipHop. Call it POP-HOP." Her lead single "Baby Feel My…" with its video, shot in Mexico, established PATRIA with radio, MuchMusic and press across Canada. Her second single "My Rules" debuted at number 2 in Billboard Magazine's international sales chart "Hits Of The World".
