guitarist, singer, songwriter, Jack de Keyzer
has performed his brand of rockin' blues
throughout North America for the past 25 years.
To date de Keyzer has released 3 CD's,
Hard Working Man (Warner Music, 1991),
Wild at Heart (Parfio Music, 1995)
and the brand new award winning release,
Down in the Groove (Blue Star Records 1999).
Down in the Groove won 'Record of the the Year' at the Maple Blues Awards
and received a 2000 Juno Award Nomination for 'Best Blues Album.'
De Keyzer also has five videos which receive
extensive play on Much Music and Country Music Television.
Jack de Keyzer's songs have appeared on the charts;
'That's the Way' #14 Album Oriented Rock radio,
other artists CD's; Prairie Oyster 'Everybody Knows'
as well as movie (Michelle Apartments) and TV soundtracks.
Jack has worked as a session guitarist
with many international artists including
Bo Diddley,
Etta James, Otis Rush,
King Biscuit Boy,
Ronnie Hawkins,
Blue Rodeo,
Robert Gordon,
Bop Cats
and Rock Angels.
Performing 150+ dates a year, the Jack de Keyzer Band
recently had the distinction of performing at the Molson Amphitheatre
as part of the BB King Blues Festival in Toronto.
Recent international gigs included a week in Athens, Greece
and a week in Puerto Escondido, Mexico.
Jack is active on the summer blues fest circuit this year with upcoming shows
at the Mudcat Fest,
the Ottawa Blues Fest,
Pembroke Blues Fest,
Toronto Rib Fest at Port Credit's South Side Shuffle.
